Uukausi sittenJoe Nicotera
@Wintergatan ...but the previous instrument wrote better sheet music. Has maestro considered that the marbles need to escape in order to get his jokes?

I like how he used legos for some things

I’m surprised he hasn’t added graphite or something between moving parts to reduce friction

I'm so glad you've decided to keep slaying the dragons but I'm really going to miss this time watching with excitement, hopes and joy. I'll always be rooting for you Martin even if the machine is never completed. I've learned so much from this whole community. Thank you so much to everyone for inspiring me over the years. Especially this last year.

It feels so good when you know what's wrong with your work, if I build this, I will not know my mistakes 😂
20 päivää sittentitsofbrass
have you thought about using lube like graphite powder on some of the parts or grease the bearings in parts this first the instrument I've seen with so many moving parts and no lube anywhere. even clarinets get cork wax

You should really get some sleep my dude.
Uukausi sittenKarsten Vildt
too bureaucratic, so missing important points: Jamming is the real danger, and why not test stability in the song process. The logical sense is left out due to politically correctness and Ghreta Thurnburg

I. BE. LIEVE!
Uukausi sittenWarren Butt
The ending talk was incredibly motivational! You always hear about how you need to "break things down" but actually seeing it in progress as you develop a system to identify actionable short term goals to make significant process really puts things into perspective in a way that many "productivity gurus" just don't manage to get across. I wish I would have discovered this channel earlier, as this whole journey is amazing.

I love his approach, attention to detail, improvement orientation and dedication ! A creative and talented mechanical engineer and musician!
Uukausi sitten6lue Already Dead
So am I right in thinking the ages made a super complicated steam punk version of a metronome? Because that's what it seems like🤷🏼♂️💯😆🤣😂😭
Uukausi sitten6lue Already Dead
Idk how i found this video🤷🏼♂️😆 but this guy is like a smart version of pewdiepie 😆🤣😂🤣😂😭😭😭🤷🏼♂️🤷🏼♂️💯💯
Uukausi sittenAlan Dike
the gears.. offset one by .125 - .25" OUT so it's flush at the furthest excursion of the wheel ? it can drive and help split the force while it still avoids hitting the inner teeth. Might work and let you use the 1.4 with proper engagement... Or I could be very wrong. I love what you're doing man!

Brother, words can't express the encouragement and clarity that you brought with this simple idea. Such an accomplishment, and this is only the beginning! Congratulations on winning against yourself, now keep repeating successes and everything will just align for you. THANK YOU, and you've got my sub forever.

It was deep , to hear about your thoughts and feelings of possibly giving up this past year. But you can't, because you would regret later on in life, and you will never know how much of an INSPIRATION you are to me and the world. Never give up. It will be a MASTERPIECE.
Uukausi sittenWayne C.

The level of engineering is something I can't even pretend to understand. There is also something beautiful with having such intimate knowledge to fine tune a complex machine. This guy just oozes talent.

The beautiful brilliant mind of a brilliant, beautiful boy~man... you are forever young & a genius in all you dream & then create, your vision, design, craftsmanship, intelligence, & dilligence to make your dreams come true. You inspire so many how lovely & amazingly impressive that you went through the dark times & stuck with it not only coming out the other side but surpassing even your original goal. Such an inspiration, who ARE you, Mozart back again??? Seriously. Thank you for sharing with us all, thank you! Cheers mate from a Canadian in Australia.

20 fails out of 5000 attempts is 99.6% probability of not having a failure, NOT 99.996%. Same as 200 fails out of 5000 is 96%, and 2000 fails is only 60%.

I know it's non of my business and I don't know what works well but was wondering what would happen whether washers, rubbish overlys, chark grip and oil slip is used and if any of it will improve or make more apparent or does anything or nothing. I don't know if you make more than one machine though. To test more than one idea to make the best one better.
